Loved the beautiful views and the friendly staff at this lodge. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the hotel had some nice touches like hot water bottles at night. Food was also good.
It's so nice to hear everything your neighbors are doing and see them clearly when you're on your balcony enjoying the view. How thoughtful!

I always go back because it's perfect for me. They helped me find transport. Wi-Fi, free parking, electric kettle, airport shuttle, laundry, hiking. I'm coming back this weekend.

Our stay at the lodge offered us breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater from our private balcony. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for our large family, allowing us to relax and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. The lodge's location was perfect, only a short distance from the mesmerizing Laetoli Footprints, where we experienced an intimate connection with Tanzania's rich history. It was an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
My children wanted more options for activities specifically designed for families.

We had an amazing stay at Serena in Ngorongoro! the location is absolutely stunning, with an unbeatable view of the crater. Waking up and looking down into the crater every morning was truly breathtaking. the design of the rooms and public areas is thoughtful and unique, with a pebble effect that makes perfect sense. the customer service provided by the staff was exceptional from the moment we arrived. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs, especially for our party members with mobility issues. the sunrise we witnessed during our stay was unforgettable. We also received a special birthday surprise during dinner, which made it a truly memorable experience.
Nothing to dislike. 😊

It had an incredible view of the Crater from the balcony, which made me feel like I was in paradise. I loved the cozy and homely atmosphere created by the beautiful decorations.
Personally, I found that the fully equipped private bathroom with a bath was not something I needed. But hey, some people might enjoy a nice soak after a long day of exploring!

The view from my room at the lodge was absolutely spectacular, overlooking the magnificent crater! And they even had warm radiators for those chilly nights. However, I was disappointed by the less-than-welcoming reception staff. Guess they were saving their friendliness for the wildlife.

Text: With its magnificent view of the crater and stylish rooms decorated with Maasai cravings, this lodge was a sight to behold. However, I was a bit miffed that the wifi didn't work in my room. Oh well, at least I had the stunning view to keep me entertained.
